this was a commissioned ink job i did over bluelined jim cheung pencils. it was copied onto maybe the worst paper i've ever dealt with (everything that i tried to ink it with seemed to bleed), so i ended up doing 95% of it with micron markers, as opposed to my normal pen nibs and brushes.

Wow!
I really like Cheung's pencils. So if the paper is beat up, you don't use quills you use Microns?
not normally. but like i said, this was strange, horrible, mutant paper. nothing was sticking to it, ink from a brush was bleeding thru it, and my quills were ripping up the paper. so microns, sharpies and a wee bit of brush work on the larger black areas had to be used
This is jaw-dropping!!!! Any way you can send me a high rez' scan privately? Im in love!

Mind if I take a stab and color this?
thanks, tim!

i'll check my files to see if i have a higher res scan of it and e-mail it to you, but i really don't think i do (yeah, yeah....i'm an idiot for not taking a better scan of it....)
would love to see it.
I think that this looks a helluva lot better than Miller's actual artwork from "Dark Knight"
